Unmissable Music Events and Concerts in 2025

Like you, we love music and nothing beats being there when it’s played live. So, we thought we’d give you some unmissable dates in 2025 for your diary. Obviously, every year there’s far too much to go to, so we’ve picked out some of our favourite headline acts and festivals.

Top concerts

Oasis

July 4th to August 17th

Let’s start with the one everyone’s talking about. Liam and Noel are back and playing in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Dublin and Edinburgh. Their tour is sold out, but if you’re lucky, well very lucky, you might be able to get resale tickets through an official resale partner.

Coldplay

August 18th to September 8th

The next big hitters on our list are Coldplay. Again, a sellout tour. And again, if you don’t already have a ticket, you’re going to need to go through official resale partners.

Bruce Springsteen

14th May to 17th June

The Boss is back in the UK, playing just 7 concerts in Manchester and Liverpool. At the time of writing there were some tickets still available, but these were the pricier ones. If you’re a die-hard fan, we’re sure you’ll find them worth every penny.

Supergrass

May 8th to August 16th

Britpop favourites, Supergrass are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their UK No.1, Mercury-nominated debut album, I Should Coco. They’ll be playing at 27 venues across the country, including some at festivals.

Morrisey

May 31st to June 7th

Singer/songwriter and famous frontman of The Smiths is playing in Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin as part of his European tour, with a limited number of tickets still available. You can look forward to some of his solo titles as well as classic Smiths tracks.

Pete Tong

4th to 13th December

Warm up winter by heading to Pete Tong Presents Ibiza Classics. With seven concerts across the UK, this is a must for anyone into their dance music as DJ, broadcaster and global dance music legend Pete Tong takes centre stage.

Top Festivals

Glastonbury

25th to 29th June

It’s the biggest festival of the year and it’s sold out. But don’t lose hope if you’ve not got your tickets. They will be having a resale of any cancelled or returned ones in spring 2025. As far as we can see, exact dates have not yet been set, so keep an eye out.

Latitude

24th to 27th July

This year’s Latitude Festival at Henham Park, Suffolk, includes headliners like Sting, Fatboy Slim, Elbow, Snow Patrol and Kaiser Chiefs. It a non-stop long weekend of music, dance, comedy, theatre, family activities and more.

Fairport Cropredy Convention

7th to 9th August

This is one date no folk (and rock) fan will want to miss. Especially as the equally famous Cambridge Folk Festival isn’t happening this year! This year’s line up includes Albert Lee, The Trevor Horn Band and, of course, Fairport Convention.

The Grange Festival

6th June to 4th July

World-class opera, jazz and dance all come together on a stunning Hampshire estate. Highlights includes new productions of La traviata and Die Fledermaus, while concerts include Summertime Swing, Bernstein on Broadway and Queen at the Opera

Obviously, the above list is just the tip of the iceberg as 2025 is packed with great live music. As you can see from our choices, the team here at musicGuard have an eclectic range of music tastes, spanning everything from classical to cutting-edge electronic beats and everything in-between. We hope you can make it to at least one of our recommendations.
