Security requirements

Requirements when your instruments and equipment are away from the insured location

If you leave your instruments or equipment unattended they must:

• Be inside a locked room or locked cupboard and any security devices made operational
• Not be kept at a temporary entertainment venue for more than 72 hours at any one time.

If your instruments or equipment are left at a venue for up to 72 hours, items must:

• Have been handed to a proprietor or manager for safekeeping and/or
• Have been kept in a secure locked room with any security devices made operational.
